-
- Inexpensive solution to remote file access
-
- RemoteRetrieve offers the inexpensive solution to retrieving
- files from your home or office computer, even when you're miles
- away.
-
- Features
-
- It eliminates the hassle of modem transfers with its preset
- modem configurations and preprogrammed high speed protocol. The
- split window interface (showing local and remote directories and
- files side by side) makes transferring files effortless. The
- split-screen file manager can also be used to move, copy, delete,
- and rename files on the local computer.
-
- Bonus features
-
- A unique file descriptor allows users to attach a description of
- up to 80 characters to each file in order to facilitate immediate
- file recognition. The voice to data feature permits conversion
- from speaking on the phone to file transfer (or vice versa).
- Another convenient feature is the remote file viewer which allows
- previewing files before transferring them.
-
- Running under Windows
-
- RemoteRetrieve will run as a DOS application under Windows. It
- can also be set to run in background, thus freeing up the Host
- computer for others to use.
-
- Registration
-
- If you use this program, please register it. See the accompanying
